The sun doesn't shine as bright as it can and you feel you have nothing to say
The flowers look pale and the birds have no song and the trees have their winter cape on
You sit there and wonder where am I today and it looks like your words are all gone
You stare out at nothing, your mind is just blank, the magic is too far away
then what else to do then to read some wise words that can give you the strength to stay
To stay there to write which you love more than life, and to kick all that darkness away
an uplifting quote when you need it the most - and oh joy - it might save your day:-)
Some quotes that makes me inspired and happy:
Do you have a favorite quote? Please share.

Those are all great. I can relate to Joan Rivers. Sometimes, I laugh out loud, just because I thought of something funny! Here's a good one: “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Howard Thurman.

DeleteYes we all need that extra bit of encouragement from others' words and thoughts. I have a lot of favourite quotes, but today the mood that I am in perhaps this one by Oscar Wilde sums up best - "Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not."
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks dear Beloo. Happy to see you here. Big hug to you today:-) :-)
